Much of these materials contained within, were taught at U.C.L.A. under the auspices of the Experimental College during 1973-1974, and principally dealt with field theory.  So successful this series, as many as two hundred and fifty students might attend each class;  7:30 to 9:30 evening lectures running for twenty weeks on M-W-T weekdays;  equivalent to a 15 unit science course.  During my tenure as professor, Jeff Miller served as the Experimental College Director.
